I ordered these collars because we were having trouble finding an extra collar for our invisible fence system, and our newest "fur child" needed something so she could play. We weren't expecting greatness, but we are thus far impressed. Our two pups, one a 2 year old lab and one a 9 mth. husky/shep mix, can run free. When needed, we have been able to get them to respond to the vibration only.; we have yet to try out the two shock levels as they haven't been needed. we have also used them keep our pups from jumping on unsuspecting guests; again with the vibration only. The range of remote operation is great too; half way across our 2 acres. So far we are very happy with these collars.

Bought these for my 8 year old Beagle & 2 year old Boston Terrier. The Beagle constantly barks from the time she goes outside til the time she comes in. Boston Terrier has a jumping problem. Both dogs were rescues. A friend told me about the widgets and I tried hers and the Beagle never barked the whole time it was on. The Boston Terrier never jumped. Great product. Works wonderful.

T had a set previously when I was first training my two dogs... It worked fine for a year and a half til one of them finally damaged the units, probably by scratching at them... You might want to use a small lock washer when you screw on the prongs... They have some tendency to work loose and get lost...

We bought these for our 2-year-old Pit Bull and 2-year-old terrier mix when playing got too rough and fur would stand up on end. The vibration setting is enough to deter any undesirable behaviors from our dogs, such as jumping on guests when they arrive. It's actually worked well to keep the dogs on the porch and in the front yard that is not fenced. We refer to them as their "Be Good Collars" and the dogs are eager to have us put them on - they must know it helps keep the peace around the house. The low and high shocks give more punch than I'm comfortable with for discipline but I'm glad the feature is there just in case the unexpected occurs.

It does a good job training my dog! I bought this because my fiance and I thought we'd be adopting another puppy, but that might not be happening. So I can't say how well both of the pieces work. The one we did we did use worked well. We've only used the vibrate button because that snaps her to attention pretty quickly and makes her less emotionally wounded. It's lasted for a while. The rechargeable battery automatically turns off with no movement and has lasted for about a year now. Great product!
